Korbich performing on Broadway
NEW YORK - Shamokin native Eddie Korbich is performing on Broadway in "A Christmas Story, The Musical."
Korbich, who has appeared on Broadway numerous times and served as an actor on television programs and movies, plays the role of Santa Claus in the musical.
The show runs until Dec. 30.
The 52-year-old Korbich is a son of the late Ed and Anne Korbich.
Wreaths to aid Downtown Christmas
SHAMOKIN - Fresh wreaths will be sold to support Downtown Christmas. The wreaths will be available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at New Beginnings Hair & Nail Salon, 337 W. Water St. The cost is $17, with bow: choose red, burgandy, silver or gold.
The project is sponsored by the Northumberland County Council for the Arts.
