MILTON - A man who had been a person of interest in the death of his mother two weeks ago was found dead in his car Monday.

Mark Boyles, 55, was pronounced dead at 5:45 p.m. by Northumberland County Coroner James F. Kelley.

His death is not considered suspicious, according to Milton Police Department.

Boyles was found inside his car after it was discovered resting against a guiderail in a parking lot behind Kuhns Bros. Surplus Outlet, Hepburn Street and Poplar Avenue.

An autopsy will be conducted at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Boyles had been questioned by police in the death of his mother, Vennie Boyles, 80, of 8 Park Lane, Milton, who was found dead Nov. 4 in a bathroom shower at her home.

His whereabouts were unknown for several days until he was reportedly seen Nov. 9 at Dunkin' Donuts, Route 15, Lewisburg.

Police interviewed Boyles but did not take him into custody.

He lived with his mother.

An autopsy was conducted on Vennie Boyles by Dr. Samuel Land at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Northumberland County Coroner James F. Kelley said Nov. 9 he is awaiting toxicology results and findings from other tests before revealing the cause and manner of the woman's death.
