Transportation changes planned
MANDATA - Bus changes are in effect for the 2012-13 school year for the Line Mountain School District.
If a child's address or address of a sitter has changed, or if the child will need a different bus stop than last year, parents are asked to notify the transportation office immediately. Changes requested late in August may not take effect until after the school year starts.
Requests may be made by calling the transportation office at 758-2645, ext. 6018.
Truman presentation set
BOALSBURG - A lecture and presentation, "Harry Truman: The Most Successful (WWII) and Least Successful (Korean War) Commander in Chief," will be give at The Pennsylvania Military Museum in this Centre County village at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1.
Retired State College teacher Greg Ferro will discuss "Give'em hell Harry," the only president to lead the country through two major wars.

Trevorton Class of 1959 holds reunion, plans next year's picnic
Trevorton High School Class of 1959 held its annual covered dish picnic at Shikellamy Marina on Saturday, June 2.
Those in attendance were John and Irene Benick, Robert and Bonnie Goodman, Jack and Barb Hepner, Dale and Ann Peifer, Gilbert Potter, Dennis and Helen Raup, Jim and Lois Reichold, Dean and Linda Wetzel, Charlotte Ann Zartman, Angelina Paczkowski, Patricia and Jim Lebo, Joan Rebuck, Deanna and Tom Deibler, Rose Marie Kopyscianski, Dixie Strausser, and Darlene Wetzel.
The 2013 picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Shikellamy Marina, Pavilion 2.
