ELYSBURG - An Elysburg teenager escaped serious injury Sunday night when the car he was driving crashed and overturned.
Robert Delbes, 18, of Elysburg, lost control of the Toyota he was operating while rounding a curve on Billman's Road, a one-lane road in a section of Franklin Township, at about 10 p.m., said Locust Township Patrolman Ryan Travelpiece.
Delbes was taken to an area hospital to be checked out, but otherwise is reported to have suffered only minor injuries.
Fire and ambulance crews from Elysburg, Catawissa and Danville and Riverside responded to the scene near High Road and Route 54 between Ralpho and Mayberry townships.
