The public is invited to this free performance. The Senior High String Ensemble will welcome guests with music in the lobby beginning at 6:35 p.m.
Banner orders wrapping up
MOUNT CARMEL - Organizers hope to wrap up orders this week for banners that will honor veterans of the armed services. As many as 20 banners can still be ordered.
Applications are available at borough hall, 137 W. Fourth St., or at Academy Sports Center, 18 S. Oak St.
The banner project began last year as part of the borough's 150th anniversary celebration, and those purchased last year will be reinstalled.
Living or deceased veterans can be honored through the project.
