TREVORTON - The Trevorton Patsies Senior Adult Ministry met in St. Patrick Church Hall July 20.
The SAM Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance were recited and the Over 50 Song was sung. A covered dish luncheon was enjoyed by 23 members.
"Happy Birthday" was sung to Freda Boblick, Lorraine Foulds, Dixie Heath and Catherine Reed. Reed made a treasury donation. A donation was made to St. Patrick Church in memory of Alvena Miller. A get well card was sent to Boblick. MaryEllen Hoffman presented the Treasury Report.
Joyce Koppen gave the travel committee report. Upcoming Patsie bus trips will be to the American Music Theatre Christmas Show Nov. 5, and to "Samson" at Sight and Sound in the spring.
Trevorton Senior Center trips are to the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre's Church Basement Ladies Sept. 24, and to Woodlock Pines in the Poconos for a 50s/60s show and dinner Oct. 13. To sign up contact Joyce at 570-797-3695 or Judie at 570-648-0105 for further information.
Winners of a 50/25/25 contest were Dorothy Swank and Ben DeFacis. President Rose Marie Kopyscianski announced her resignation of office effective Dec. 31. A regular meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 17. New members are welcome.
Bingo was played after the meeting and refreshments were served. A Christmas banquet will be held in December.
