No Christmas tree pickup
MOUNT CARMEL - Mount Carmel Borough will not pick up Christmas trees this year. Residents will be responsible for proper disposal.
Work planned on I-81 south
PINE GROVE TOWNSHIP - PennDOT crews will seal cracks on I-81 south from exit 104 (state route 125) and exit 90 (state route 72) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday. The project is expected to be done Friday. Lanes will be restricted and motorists are urged to drive with caution in work zones.
