MOUNT CARMEL - The following hearings took place Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones. Defendants ordered to appear for plea court Sept. 24 at Northumberland County Court, Sunbury, can plead guilty or no contest, or seek a trial by pleading not guilty.
n Alecia Rose Malick, 46, of 126 Mayfair Road, Paxinos, waived to court two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive in a single lane, careless driving, limitations on driving on the left side of the road and a windshield wiper violation.
The charges filed by Trooper Barry Wooten of state police at Stonington relate to a March 18 incident on Route 54 in Rush Township.
n Amy Lynn Jenkins, 38, of Northumberland, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was ordered to pay a $500 fine plus costs and restitution in the amount of $474.
Additional charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property were withdrawn.
Jenkins was charged by Trooper Nicholas Berger of state police at Stonington with stealing various flowers valued at $20 from Whitenight's Farmers Market in Riverside on April 30.
n Rondasia Lenese Gibbons, 24, of 244 S. Oak St., second floor, Mount Carmel, waived to court charges of corruption of minors and selling or furnishing alcohol to minors.
Gibbons was charged by Mount Carmel Patrolman Matthew Dillman with purchasing alcohol for two minors, ages 14 and 13, at her residence June 25.
n Dustin Robert Peel, 38, of Mahanoy City, waived to court charges of forgery, possession of Cyclobenzaprine, Clonazepam and Oxycodone Acetaminaphen, identity theft and two counts of tampering with records relating to a June 4 incident in the borough.
Peel was charged by Mount Carmel Patrolman Matthew Dillman with forging a letter from a fictitious Army doctor, claiming the doctor prescribed medications for him.
n James M. Daly, 48, of Berwick, waived to court charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under suspension relating to a July 21 incident at 9th and Chestnut streets in Kulpmont.
The charges were filed by Kulpmont Patrolman Cade Holden.
