POTTSVILLE - Two local Allied Health Students at the Pottsville Campus of McCann School of Business and Technology passed programmatic NHA certifications: Alyssa Smith, of Lavelle, and Kailee Yost, of Shamokin. The National Health Career Association (NHA) was founded in 1989 to fill the need for highly skilled individuals in the medical field throughout the United States. Since its beginning, the NHA has certified more than 400,000 health professionals, meeting the demand for certified frontline medical practitioners ranging from clinical certifications to medical certifications.
