SELINSGROVE - Brandon Mendoza, of Shamokin, is serving an internship at Weis Markets in Sunbury this spring. He is a sophomore majoring in business administration with an emphasis in finance at Susquehanna University.
Mendoza's responsibilities include testing financial process controls, conducting inventory and cycle counts at other Weis Markets locations, and assisting staff with other auditing work. Through the course of the internship, he will gain experience in the financial field.
Mendoza, a 2012 graduate of Shamokin Area High School, is a son of Lisa Mendoza and John Mendoza.
