Expo Thursday; Masser's office closed
ELYSBURG - Due to Rep. Kurt Masser's Senior Expo being held Thursday at the All Home Days Park, the state representative announced his district offices in Danville and Elysburg will be closed the day of the event.
Masser said that with more than 400 people attending, all staff members are needed to make sure everything runs as smooth as possible and he thanks everyone in advance for their patience and cooperation.
The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Elysburg office will reopen at 9 a.m. Friday and the Danville satellite office will resume regular office hours on Monday.
Tickets available for Greaseband
MOUNT CARMEL - Tickets are available for the Fabulous Greaseband, which is coming to the Mount Carmel Area Junior-Senior High School auditorium Sept. 14.
The performance will begin at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. The seven-member band brings the best of the '50s, '60s, '70s and '80s. The performance is sponsored by Mount Carmel Downtown Inc. (MCDI).
Advance tickets can be purchased at the Academy Sports Center, Mount Carmel Public Library or from any MCDI member. Tickets will also be available at the door.
All proceeds benefit Mount Carmel Downtown, Inc.
