Homelessness and children discussed
ELYSBURG - The impact of homelessness on children will be explored at Lifetree Cafe from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Elysburg Presbyterian Church, 320 W. Valley Ave.
The program, titled "Children With No Place to Call Home: Helping Kids in Crisis," features a filmed visit with homeless children, their parents and agency workers who assist homeless children.
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available.

Auditions held today
SHAMOKIN - Auditions for Talent Showcase 2013 will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Northumberland County Career and Arts Center Auditorium, Arch and Eighth streets.
Auditions are open to all ages and all talents.
