TREVORTON - Eleven members of Trevorton Senior Center attended the monthly meeting at noon Aug. 1.
In absence of President Edwina Savidge, Vice President Marry Ellen Hoffman conducted the meeting beginning with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Wanda Heath gave the secretary's report. It was approved as read.
The treasurer's report was read and approved by the center's manager, Diana Smeal.
Joyce Koppen, member of the travel committee, gave the financial report and read a list of future trips: The Sands Casino on Aug. 21 and Ehrhardt's Waterfront Resort on Lake Wallenpaupack on Oct. 3. The latter trip is slated to include a visit to the Steamtown Rail Station for a ride to observe fall foliage and then a show featuring Joey Vincent and a family style dinner. A snack will be served before returning to the bus. Cost is $75. Call the center or a member of the travel committee for more information.
A birthday party was scheduled for Aug. 16, and a visit to the Wooden Nickel Restaurant in Millersburg was scheduled for Aug. 22. Breakfast was scheduled for Monday and a picnic at the Shikellamy Marina today. Hoagies will be made and sold Wednesday.
The annual banquet will be held Nov. 12.
