COAL TOWNSHIP - The August meeting of the Rainbow Club was held in Our Lady of Hope hall.
Ruth Romanoski, president, opened the meeting with prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and the Over 50 song. Birthday celebrants were acknowledged.
The attendance award was won by Marcie Reidinger. The 50/50 winners were Howard Sandri and Marie Cwalina.
A Mass and banquet for all Senior Adult Ministry clubs will be held Oct. 13 in Harrisburg.
A trip is planned in September to the Dutch Apple Theater to see the musical, "Menopause." The bus will depart at 8:30 a.m. from the church parking lot.
The Christmas show is Nov. 7 at the American Music Theater.
Romanoski closed the meeting with prayers.
