OLOL orientation planned
COAL TOWNSHIP - Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School will hold a back-to-school orientation for pre-school, kindergarten and first-grade students at 1 p.m. Sunday in the school cafeteria.
At least one parent must attend the orientation.
Quartet to sing at church service
DORNSIFE - The Skyline Boys, a gospel quartet from Virginia, will leading an outdoor worship service at Himmel's Church grove at 9 a.m. Sunday.

The public is invited to enjoy of morning of worship in the beautiful outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in the sanctuary.
The pavilion is available for those who want to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy fellowship for the rest of the day.
Discussing tension between science, religion planned at Lifetree Cafe
ELYSBURG - The apparent conflicts between religion and science will be discussed at Lifetree Café at 7 p.m. on Sunday
The program, titled "Science and Religion: Can They Coexist?" features an exclusive filmed interview with the Vatican Observatory's Brother Guy Consolmagno.
Consolmagno, who holds a doctorate in planetary science, is curator of the Vatican meteorite collection in Castel Gandolfo and researches the origin and evolution of small bodies in the solar system.
"Science and religion often appear to be at odds," says Lifetree representative Craig Cable, who notes that the two camps may be closer than they appear. "We'll talk about where the two ideologies clash as well as complement each other," says Cable.
