Smokey the Bear appearance
BARNESVILLE - Smokey the Bear will be at the Locust Lake amphitheater at 6:30 p.m. Saturday to promote fire prevention.
Dave Duffy, a fire chief from New England Fire Company, will present a fire prevention and campfire safety program followed by a visit by Smokey the Bear.
The program is free and open to the public. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
