COAL TOWNSHIP - Timothy C. Shuey, of 31 Highview Drive, Coal Township, received a grade-point average of 4.0 for the spring semester at Slippery Rock University.
Shuey has recently completed his junior year, and is studying pre-med. He has attained a 4.0 grade-point average in five of his six semesters at Slippery Rock.
A 2010 graduate of Shamokin Area High School, he is a son of Rondi and Charles Shuey, of Coal Tonwhship. He is also the grandson of Louise and the late A.L. Korkuch, and the late Elmer (Tim) and Olga Shuey, all of Coal Township.
