FORT BENNING, Ga. - Army National Guard Spec. Zachary T. Teisher graduated from basic infantry training.
During the nine weeks of training, Teisher learned drill and ceremony, weapon usage, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics and using various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.
Teisher is a son of Richard and Carol Teisher, of Swank Road, Sunbury.
He is a 2003 graduate of Shikellamy High School, Sunbury. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2007 from Lebanon Valley College, Annville.
