Christian skate planned
SHAMOKIN DAM - Meadowview Christian Academy of Paxinos, will host a Christian skate Saturday at Sunset Skating Rink. Admission tickets will be sold starting at 3:45 p.m. for $4, and skating will be held from 4:15 to 6:15 p.m., featuring favorites in contemporary Christian music. Skate rental is available.
Barletta to hold outreach sessions
The staff of U.S. Congressman Lou Barletta, (R-11) will hold regular constituent hours on a monthly basis in several area locations.
Staff will meet with contituents in:
- Atlas - Second Tuesday of each month, from 10 a.m. to noon, Mount Carmel Township Municipal Building, 300 Laurel St.
- Danville - Third Monday of each month, Montour County Courthouse, 29 Mill St.
- Elysburg - First Monday of each month, state Rep. Kurt Masser's Office, 467 Industrial Park Road.
- Shamokin - Second Tuesday of each month, from 1 to 3 p.m., Shamokin City Hall, 47 E. Lincoln St.
Staff members will be available to handle issues including, but not limited to, Social Security problems, Veterans Affairs issues or passport requests.
Barletta maintains a district office at 106 Arch St., Sunbury.
