Cottage cheese pierogies for sale
COAL TOWNSHIP - The Shamokin-Coal Township Senior Action Center has a limited amount of cottage cheese pierogies from Our Lady of Hope Church, freshly made, available for sale for $12 a dozen. They can be picked at the center, at 821 W. Chestnut St. between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. To reserve an order call 644-0772.
Meadowview accepting applications
PAXINOS - Meadowview Christian Academy is accepting enrollment applications for the 2013-2014 school year.
The school is non-denominational and teachings are based on Biblical principles. Students from local school districts are accepted, and grades include pre-kindergarten (K-4) to sixth grade. The school provides extra classes in art, music and physical education, as well as educational field trips. Bus transportation is available in most areas and tuition assistance is also available.
