NORTHUMBERLAND - Lois W. Haddon, 87, chairwoman of Sunbury Broadcasting Corp., died Sunday in Nottingham Village, The Daily Item reported Tuesday.
Haddon became chairwoman of the board of the broadcasting company after her husband, Roger Haddon Sr., died in 2004.
The Sunbury Broadcasting Corp. operates five radio stations in the Susquehanna Valley.
According to The Daily Item, the Haddon family has owned Sunbury Broadcasting since 1933. It is the oldest family-owned radio company in Pennsylvania, the newspaper added.
Roger Haddon Sr.'s father, Harry Haddon Sr., was also, at one time, part-owner of The Daily Item.
