WILBURTON - Conyngham Township Police continue to search for a man involved in an attempted abduction Thursday between Wilburton No. 1 and No. 2.
Officer-in-charge William Spickler reported Sunday that at 6:30 p.m., police were notified of the attempted abduction of a 17-year-old male who was walking along Midvalley Road between the two municipalities.
The male told police he was able to run to a friend's house and call a family member to pick him up.
Police describe the person as a 50-year-old clean-shaven white male wearing a hat, driving a newer maroon Ford or Chevrolet full-size pickup truck with a "4x4" on the rear side corners of the truck. No information on the registration plate was available.
