Burglary
ROCKEFELLER TOWNSHIP - State police at Stonington report that sometime between 10 a.m. Feb. 1 and 3:45 p.m. March 1, someone broke into a cabin at 429 Buchs Hollow Road, Rockefeller Township, owned by Robert J. Dettra, 46, of East Earl, by breaking down the rear door. The burglars removed two space heaters and a lighter.
The investigation continues.
Minor injury
JACKSON TOWNSHIP - One minor injury was reported in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of Routes 225 and 3012 in this Northumberland County township.
State police at Stonington reported Tabatha L. McGruther, 31, of Gillett, Bradford County, was driving a 2000 Dodge Durango east on Route 3012 at 3:11 p.m. when she failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection with Route 225. The Durango struck a 2005 Ford E250 driven south on Route 225 by Cherylene D. Bopp, 58, of Wiconisco, who suffered a minor injury and was transported by Americus Ambulance to an area hospital.
McGruther and her two passengers, a 13-year-old female and an 11-year-old male, both of Gillett, escaped injury.
Police said the vehicles were towed from the scene.
McGruther was cited for a stop sign violation and an expired inspection certificate.
