BLOOMSBURG - Lisa L. Burns, a daughter of Rock and Sue Burns, of Coal Township, was named to Bloomsburg University dean's list for the fall 2012 semester after earning a 3.62 grade-point average.
She is currently a senior speech-language pathology major and psychology minor with a cumulative GPA of 3.61. This past December, she received her English as a Second Language (ESL) certification at Bloomsburg University.
She is a silver member of Bloomsburg University chapter of The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and participates in intramural sports and intervarsity Christian fellowship. She is an active member at St. John's United Methodist Church in Coal Township, where she is a nursery worker and Sunday school teacher.
